By default the HEWMEN Cell app launches automatically when your computer starts up.

In order to maintain correct functionality of Cell's auto start feature it should only be adjusted from within the Cell application's settings. When the auto start setting is adjusted through the Cell app, it automatically updates the Windows Auto Start settings.

When the auto start settings are adjusted through Windows, it DOES NOT update the settings for HEWMEN Cell. This can lead to confusion and unexpected functionality.

How do you adjust the auto start setting in HEWMEN Cell?

This setting can be changed through the Cell app at the bottom of both the "Easy" and "Expert" Mode Settings menu.

The "Launch on Startup" toggle can be changed by clicking on the toggle slider to the right.

When the toggle is blue, it's activated and the Cell app will launch on start up.  Although, the main screen will not come up automatically, the app icon is still visible in your tray. You can bring up the Main Screen again by double clicking the tray icon.

If the toggle is grey then it is deactivated and will not launch automatically at start up. However, the app can still be launched from your computer just like any other app.

The Auto Start Toggle is NOT Working Properly

If the auto start in Cell does not seem to be functioning properly, for example the toggle shows "active" in Cell, but the app does not launch automatically or it shows "deactive" and the app continues to launch at start up, then the toggle in the app may be out of sync with your Windows auto start settings. This should not happen if the auto start settings are only adjusted from the Cell application. However, if you adjusted your windows settings the may have caused the two toggles to get out of sync.

This can be easily fixed by returning to your Windows Application Auto Start settings and adjust the toggle there in order to match the auto start setting in the Cell App.

You may access your Windows App Auto Start Settings by clicking the Windows icon in the lower left-hand corner of your desktop and then clicking the "Setting" gear immediately above the power icon. This will bring up the Windows Settings Page.

From the Windows Settings page, Click on "Apps", the second item in the second column. This brings up your "Apps Page". Navigate to your App Auto Start settings by clicking on "Auto Start" in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. It should be final item in the menu.

Find HEWMEN Cell in the "Startup Apps" menu and click it's toggle, ensuring that the new setting matches the one in the Cell app.

For example: If the "Launch on Startup" is active (blue) in the Cell app, then it should also be active (blue) in your Windows Settings.

Once both settings match, be sure to save them.

In order to maintain expected functionality going forward, the auto start settings for the HEWMEN Cell app should only be adjusted from within the Cell application itself
