There are, in fact, two versions of the HEWMEN Cell app - a version available from the Windows Store and a Standalone version.
Functionally, there is no difference between the two versions. Both perform the same tasks and both help researchers discover new treatments for disease.
The main difference between the two apps is how you download them and receive updates.
For people how prefer to download and manage their updates from the Microsoft Windows Store, they can do so by downloading the app from our product page on the Windows Store.
Alternatively, if users would like updates to happen automatically, and have a little more control over the installation of the app, we also offer a Standalone Download available from a link on our HEWMEN Cell webpage.
The IMPORTANT thing to remember is that you can only have one version of HEWMEN Cell running on your system at any given time. If you want to switch from one version of Cell to the other, you MUST uninstall the previous version from your system before you install the other version.
